The Flex Designer Suite provides tools to speed up the design of flexible printed circuits which have traditionally needed the requirement of precise mechanical measurements. CDS has developed electrically intelligent Flex layout EDA tools for the most demanding flexible circuit requirements.

Flex Technology

The Flex Technology is a set of tools developed for flex designers and is optimized for quick and accurate: Teardrops, filleting, tapers, ground planes, cover layers, routing, pushing, spreading, and more. The Flex Designer Suite is available with other tools to complete a Flex circuit from schematic to layout and routing to gerber.

Schematic Design:

Design Rule Checking:

Design Rule Checker Utility is a batch clearance checking tool for user checking of completed or in-progress designs, to produce precision accuracy down to fractions of a micron.

  • View and automatically zoom to errors for correction.

  • The Ignore Errors Less Than feature screens out insignificant minute errors not worth reviewing.
